Accelerated Reader
Our elementary schools use Accelerated Reader for our students to track their reading comprehension. After reading a book, they take a test on AR to see what they've learned. The points they earn from those tests are used for individual goals for students. It serves as a fun incentive for students who can get prizes for their point levels. Parents can follow their testing progress and overall points on Accelerated Reader as well as look up books for students to check their reading level and point value. If you are unable to access the web links below, please contact your child's teacher to help.
To access your child's Accelerated Reader scores, you can use Home Connect. To obtain a username/password for Home Connect, ask your child's teacher or contact Michelle Triemstra, Director of Technology, at 269-694-7921 or email mtriemstra@otsegops.org
