The Otsego/Plainwell Chamber of Commerce honored several award winners this week including Otsego’s Educator of the Year, Shannon McLaren, Student Success Coordinator for Washington Street Elementary.

Otsego Public Schools has been named a National Showcase District for the 2nd year in a row from Capturing Kids' Hearts. Each of our buildings also received Showcase School designations!

Washington Street Elementary was honored today with the Literacy Leader Award from TalentFirst, an honor that recognizes West Michigan schools leading the way in student achievement and growth in reading.
